Evolutionary Astrology

What exactly is meant by the term evolutionary when it comes to the field of astrology? Basically, things evolve from one state to another in the natural unfolding of process. Guess what, we as beings do the same. Where the evolutionary aspect of becoming comes into play is in the ongoing discovery that being a soul involves as we transition from one lifetime to another over an extended framework of incarnations.

There are versions of this evolutionary take offered by various astrologers with leanings along specific trails of potential unfolding. I have looked at a couple and inclined my understanding to tune in best with that offered through Steven Forrest’s School of Evolutionary Astrology.

All evolutionary schools lean into the dance of the lunar nodes as a representation of unfolding destiny. I have come to attune to a version of soul movement bringing a karmic footprint into each incarnation with the hope of being able to facilitate resolution of matters that we arrived with, from previous lifetimes, that have become potentially ripe to deal with. Success is not a guarantee in each lifetime, but from the soul’s perspective we have a larger frame of development to ponder in our decisions of what is appropriate for the hoped for expansion of our soul’s expression.

Many are the attempts to peer back through time to personages with a pension for seeking dynamic and important, larger than life characters we just know we were back along the way. With the system I utilize the character is not as important as the kinds of soul development in whatever cultural confines we found ourselves where we did not effectively live out so well. This likely left a soul or heart imprint upon us that we still recognize when it is pointed out. While we always have “free will” to do what we want, factors contained within our soul complex seek audience if we care to discover them. It is through an evolutionary investigation using the astrological tool, to remind us of aspects of our mission, that I will share with you during our consultation.

Clarity of the term consultation needs to be gleaned here. My process is to engage in a “conversation with you” while at the same time conversing with universal and celestial beings I invite and allow audience with us. Perhaps this could be seen as aspects of the shamanic leaning that I as well include in being alive at this time.
